Duties, Powers, and Responsibilities

     Pursuant to Article 33 of the Decree-Law No. 124, dated 07/10/1983, on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Supreme Governing Bodies and Higher Education Institutions, the duties, powers, and responsibilities of the Department of Library and Documentation are as follows:

a) To meet all kinds of required services of the university libraries,
b) To carry out cataloging and deployment processes for records such as prints, films, videotapes, and microfilms, as well as bibliographic search studies,
c) To fulfill other similar duties to be assigned.
