Library Collection

Printed Publications

     Our printed publications collection consists of 57100 printed books, 5 manuscripts, 345 rare printed books, 471 theses, and 5263 issues of academic periodicals from 681 different publications. The printed books, rare books, journals, theses, and audiovisual publications in our collection are presented using an open shelf system. Records belonging to our collection can be searched through our library catalog webpage. Our book halls are equipped with catalog search terminals that can print out call numbers.

Electronic Publications

     Our electronic publications collection consists of 20 full-text academic publication databases containing 30175 electronic journals, 37370 e-books, and 5500000 e-theses, 6 index databases, 3 plagiarism analysis web applications, 1 reference management system, 1 interactive video portal, and 850 audiovisual publications (book CD-ROMs, documentary DVDs).

     Subscriptions to 20 full-text academic publication databases, 4 index databases, 3 plagiarism analysis web applications, and 1 reference management system were provided by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM and made available to our institution through the EKUAL Protocol.

     Access to the subscribed academic publication databases is provided via the VETİS application on the internet.
